Common questions
Is VPN Luck really free?
Yes. There is no free trial that flips into a paid subscription, no in-app purchases, and no advertising. The app is free to download and free to use.
Why does the app ask for permission to add a VPN configuration?
iOS requires every app that uses the NetworkExtension framework to ask before adding a VPN profile. This is a system-level requirement and is normal for any VPN app on iPhone or iPad. The prompt appears once, the first time you tap connect.
Do you keep logs of my activity?
No. The app does not log traffic. Servers are configured to not record source IP, destination IP, or DNS queries. The only on-device record is a short list of session timestamps used for in-app troubleshooting, which you can clear from Settings.
How do I switch country?
Tap the Countries tile from the home screen, then tap the country you want. The next time you tap connect, your traffic routes through that country.
What does the kill switch do?
If the VPN tunnel drops mid-session, the kill switch blocks all internet traffic from your device until the tunnel is back up. Toggle it under Settings → Privacy.
How do I delete the app and remove all my data?
Just delete the app from your home screen. iOS removes the VPN profile, the saved preferences, and the on-device databases. There is no cloud copy of your data anywhere.
The app says "DISCONNECTED" but tapping does nothing.
Make sure the iOS VPN configuration was approved when you first set it up. Open iOS Settings → General → VPN & Device Management → confirm the VPN profile is present and authorised. If problems persist, send us a message above.
Does VPN Luck work on iPad?
Yes. The same binary supports iPhone and iPad. iPad supports portrait and landscape orientations.
